**Updated Sarah’s Pawz Dog Grooming Terms and Conditions:**
 
Thank you for choosing Sarah’s Pawz for your dog grooming needs. Please review the following updated terms and conditions:
 
1. **Client Policy – Large Dogs:**
   – Effective immediately, Sarah’s Pawz will not be accepting any new large dogs for grooming services.
   – This policy applies to all new clients seeking grooming services for large breeds.
   – Existing clients with large dogs will still be accommodated for grooming services.
 
2. **Payment Terms:**
   – We accept payment in cash or by card. Please note that we prefer cash payments as we incur charges for card transactions.
   – We do not accept bank transfers as some clients have previously left without paying.
 
3. **Health Requirements:**
   – All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and receive regular flea treatment and worming.
   – Any dog found with fleas will be refused grooming services and sent home.
 
4. **Behavioral Policies:**
   – Dogs showing signs of extreme stress during grooming will be stopped and sent home for their well-being.
   – We do not accept aggressive dogs for the safety of our staff and other pets in our care.
 
5. **Matting Policy:**
   – In cases of severe matting, our groomers reserve the right to shave out mats or recommend a complete coat shave for the comfort and well-being of the dog.
 
6. **Changes to Terms and Conditions:**
   – Sarah’s Pawz reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes in advance.

**Sarah’s Pawz Dog Grooming Additional Terms and Conditions for Matting:**
 
In addition to the existing terms and conditions, please be aware of the following policies regarding matting in your dog’s coat:
 
1. **Matting Policy:**
   – In the event that your dog’s coat is severely matted, Sarah will assess the condition and determine the necessary course of action.
   – Severe mats are painful for the dog and can lead to skin irritation and discomfort.
 
2. **Matting Treatment Options:**
   – If matting is detected, Sarah will either shave out the mats or recommend a complete shave of the coat for the well-being of the dog.
   – We prioritize the comfort and safety of your pet, and in cases of severe matting, we may opt for a shaving process rather than a de-matting procedure to prevent unnecessary pain and stress.
 
3. **Risk of Skin Rash:**
   – Severe matting can increase the risk of skin rash or irritation, although this is rare.
   – Shaving out mats or the entire coat can help alleviate the risk of skin issues associated with matting.
 
4. **Owner Consent:**
   – Before proceeding with shaving out mats or a complete coat shave, Sarah will seek your consent and discuss the best course of action for your dog’s comfort and well-being.

**Policy on Late Arrivals and Late Pick-ups:**
 
At Sarah’s Pawz, we strive to maintain a smooth and efficient grooming schedule for the benefit of all our clients and their furry companions. To ensure the best experience for everyone, we kindly request adherence to the following policies regarding late arrivals and late pick-ups:
 
1. **Late Arrivals:**
   – We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, causing delays in scheduled appointments. If you anticipate being late, please notify us as soon as possible.
   – In the event of a late arrival, we will make every effort to accommodate your appointment; however, please be aware that your grooming session may need to be shortened to accommodate other clients.
 
2. **Late Pick-ups:**
   – We appreciate your promptness in picking up your dog after grooming. Late pick-ups can disrupt our grooming schedule and cause inconvenience for us.
   – A grace period of 15 minutes will be allowed for pick-up after the grooming session is completed. After this period, a late pick-up fee may be charged.
 
3. **Late Pick-up Fee:**
   – A late pick-up fee may be applied for pick-ups exceeding the grace period. The fee will be determined based on the duration of the delay.
   – Repeated instances of late pick-ups may result in additional fees or restrictions on future appointments.
 
4. **Communication:**
   – Open communication is key to maintaining a positive client-provider relationship. If you anticipate being late for pick-up, please notify us in advance.
   – If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from arriving on time, please contact us as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements.

**Sarah’s Pawz Dog Grooming Photography Policy:**
 
In addition to the existing terms and conditions, please be aware of the following policy regarding photography at Sarah’s Pawz Dog Grooming:
 
1. **Photography Policy:**
   – Sarah’s Pawz may take photographs of your dog during grooming sessions for promotional and marketing purposes.
   – These photographs may be used on our website, social media platforms, marketing materials, and other promotional channels.
 
2. **Owner Consent:**
   – By booking an appointment with Sarah’s Pawz, you provide consent for photographs of your dog to be taken and used for promotional purposes as described above.
   – If you do not wish for your dog to be photographed or featured in promotional materials, please inform our staff in writing before the grooming session.
 
3. **Usage Rights:**
   – Sarah’s Pawz retains the rights to use the photographs taken during grooming sessions for promotional and marketing purposes indefinitely.
   – The photographs may be edited, cropped, or enhanced as deemed necessary by Sarah’s Pawz for marketing purposes.
 
4. **Privacy and Confidentiality:**
   – We respect the privacy of our clients and their pets. Personal information such as names, addresses, or contact details will not be disclosed in conjunction with the photographs without explicit consent.
 
5. **Opt-Out Option:**
   – If you prefer that your dog is not photographed or featured in promotional materials, please inform our staff in advance, and we will respect your wishes.
